Ribbon & Lace. Rose paper and lace, bows and pearls, a copperplate hand on the greeting, a ribbon that unties when you tick.

45 kits, made by hand.

A whole dashboard each: the paper and type, the widgets laid out for a laptop and a phone, a pack of stickers and tape drawn for it, the sound and feel of a tick, its light and its dark. Each comes with a desktop wallpaper, a lock screen and a story card to take away. Pick one, drop in three photos, and it's yours in a minute.

Your photos, everywhere.

Behind the whole planner, a different one for each view or a new one each day. Across the top of a page. On each course's cover. In widgets, collages and a stack of prints. Under a veil of the paper, so every word stays readable.

  • Coffee and plants on a sill, in an arch
  • A beach at sunset, as a polaroid
    spring break
  • A tabby cat, in a circle
  • Library lamps, as a film print
  • Cherry blossom, as a stamp
  • Any photo, any phone

Drop them in, paste them, pick them. iPhone photos are fine. Shrunk on your device, with where they were taken stripped out.

  • Cut to any shape

Hearts, arches, scallops, torn paper, stamps, polaroids. Film, vintage, dreamy and more, and a wash of your colour so a page of photos becomes a set.

  • Never in the way

Text over a photo gets just enough of a scrim to read, measured from the photo itself. Press D to hide every decoration for a moment of focus.

Decorate

862+ stickers, and tape, and doodles.

Thirty-one packs drawn for the kits, each to one hand: wax seals and quills, liquid chrome, a café counter, a pixel farm, a mission patch, a hanok courtyard, a diya and marigolds. Foil, holo and clear ones among the paper. Washi tape that lets the page through, frames and doodles in your colours, and sixty faces to set words in.

Any photo, a sticker.

Tap your cat, your friend, your coffee or your concert ticket, and it’s cut out with a white sticker edge. It happens on your device; the photo isn’t sent anywhere to do it.

Everything hangs on a widget’s corner or edge, so the sticker on your courses stays on your courses when your phone lays the page out differently. And nothing can cover a checkbox: drop a sticker on one and it steps aside.

A tick that feels like something.

Hearts, confetti, petals, pixels or fireworks when you finish something, and a bigger one when the day or the week is clear. A soft click, a pop, a chime or a coin. A heart for a checkbox, a sparkle trail behind your pointer. All off until you choose them.

  • Lab report 2
  • Read ch. 7
  • Problem set 4

Tick all three for the big one. Off by default; nothing moves if your device asks for less motion.

And someone to share the desk with.

A pet in the corner of your overview: happy when you’re on top of things, sleepy when things are late, delighted when the week is clear. Clear a week and a pen pal’s stamp goes in your album, with a secret sticker now and then; keep a streak and the pet gets something new to wear. Each month has its own small event, with a kit, a sticker and an outfit. Nothing is ever for sale by chance.

  • BiscuitOn top of it
  • CloverWeek cleared
  • MochiA few to go
  • BooThings are late
  • QuackOn top of it
  • SproutWeek cleared

Show it off.

Your week as a lock-screen wallpaper, at the exact size for your phone, with the top clear for the clock. Every kit's own desktop wallpaper, lock screen, story card, video-call background and sticker sheet, made on your device when you ask. And a link to your setup that shows the design, never your plan.

About Studio.

What does Studio cost?

$3 a month (or $20 a year) on top of Madison for Students, or $39 a year for the two together as Madison + Studio. $5 a month ($39 a year) on top of Madison Professional. It goes on the same bill as your plan. In early access it is free until launch, like everything else.

Do I need it?

No. The planner is whole without it: every view, the reader, sync, your own look and colours and words. Studio is for people who want their planner to look like their notebook does.

What happens if I stop?

The planner goes back to your free look, and nothing you made is deleted. Your dashboard, stickers and setups stay saved, your photos stay kept for a year, and turning Studio back on brings everything back exactly as it was.

Where do my photos go?

They are shrunk on your device first, with where they were taken stripped out, then kept privately in your account so they are on every device you sign in on. Nobody else can see them. A shared link only includes them if you tick the box.

Will it make the planner slow?

It is built not to. Pictures are made at the sizes they are shown at, load blurred first and never shift the page, and heavy things (the sticker cutter, the HEIC decoder) only load when you use them. A planner without Studio loads nothing extra at all.

Can I share my setup?

Yes, as a link. It opens your design on Madison's example term, so none of your courses, dates, notes or habits go with it, and anyone with Studio can use it as their own. You can also put it in the public gallery, credited to a name you choose, once a person has looked at it.
