The creator programme
For the people who make study videos and planner templates. Send people to Madison, and when they subscribe you are paid 30% of what they pay for their first 12 months.
Who it's for
StudyTok and study-with-me channels, people who sell or give away Notion templates, anybody whose audience plans a term. You don’t need a following of any size, and nobody is asked to say anything they don’t think. Anybody with a Madison account can join.
What you're paid
30% of every subscription payment from somebody you sent, for 12 months from their first payment. It is worked out on what they actually paid, less any sales tax; Madison pays the card fees, not you. A month they get free from your invite earns nothing, because nothing was paid for it.
One-off purchases (a semester pass, a gift, a sticker drop) are not part of it, only subscriptions.
How people count as yours
Two ways: your invite link from Settings, and any Madison Studio setup you share. Somebody who opens either is remembered on that device for 30 days and counts as yours if they make an account in that time. They still get their own first month free; you get the commission instead of the free month a friend’s invite usually earns.
When you're paid
Each payment waits 30 days in case it is refunded, then joins your balance. Once a month, when your balance is $25 or more, it is sent to your bank through Stripe. Less than $25 carries over to the next month, and nothing is ever lost for being small.
If a payment is refunded before it has been paid to you, its share is simply cancelled. If it has already been paid, the share comes off your next payout.
Stripe does the paperwork
Payouts go through Stripe Connect. Stripe checks who you are, keeps your bank details and, where the law asks for one (a 1099 in the United States), sends you the tax form. Madison never sees your bank account. You can see every payout in your own Stripe dashboard, linked from Settings.
No promises
This is a share of real payments, not a salary, and most people will earn a little or nothing. Nobody is paid for signups alone, for clicks or for views. Madison can change the rate or close the programme with notice; what you have already earned is paid either way. Creators who send people by spam, by paying them, or by misleading them are paused.
Joining
In the planner, open Settings and find Creator programme. Accept these terms, then set up payouts with Stripe; it takes about five minutes. Questions to hello@madisonplanner.app.
